The world is always in need of positive social change. At One Pen One Page, we believe in the unique capacity of storytelling to make that change a reality communities around the world. We affirm that if you give these storytelling tools to the next generation of young leaders, change is not only possible, but accessible.
National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman founded One Pen One Page (OPOP) as a collective community and platform for student storytellers to change the world. OPOP uses an online space, in-person workshops and storytelling programs, and innovative technology to activate a global audience of young storytellers and advocates.
Since its launch in 2015, through our programing and outreach marketing OPOP has reached hundreds of students from around the world. Our work has been mentioned in the likes of Teen Vogue, Girlboss, and Mariashriver.com, and has received support from Vital Voices and HERlead.
Together, OPOP is working to make a difference, one student, one pen, one page, at a time.
